Educational Requirements
NOTE: All applications for bar admission must be filed with the Supreme Court through the Office of the Bar Confidant. Applicants’ degrees, including high school, college, and law school, must be from officially approved and recognized schools, as authorized by the Secretary of Education. Applicants must file affidavits attesting to such facts, accompanied by certificates from each university or school of law. Further evidence may be required by the court. |

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
SHORT-TERM GOALS
Obtain an internship in a human resources department and gain practical insights and experience in the field.
Develop a strong understanding of HR fundamentals, such as recruitment, employee relations, and HR policies and procedures.
Enhance skills in areas relevant to HR, such as communication, problem-solving and data-analysis.
Network and build connections with HR professionals through extra-curricular activities, and career fairs.
Graduate from my current undergraduate program with Latin honors.
MID-TERM GOALS
Secure a full-time entry-level position in HR (HR Assistant to HR Coordinator). This can help develop or enhance necessary skills through hands-on experience.
Pursue additional certifications on training programs in the Philippines to enhance knowledge and credibility in the field.
Take on increasing responsibilities in the HR department.
Build a professional reputation as a reliable and competent HR professional.
Be a strong candidate for HR Manager promotion.
LONG-TERM GOALS
Continue advancing in the HR field by securing my promotion and become a HR Manager in a reputable and known organization/company.
Enhance my current HR skills and develop specific area of HR (e.g.: talent management, compensation and benefits, or employee relations).
Build stronger professional network and reputation in the HR community.
Consider pursuing advanced education such as a master’s degree in human resource management to further my enhance skills and qualifications.
LAWYER
SHORT-TERM GOALS
Ensure to maintain high overall GWA in my undergraduate studies.
Gain relevant experience through internships or volunteer work in the legal setting
Improve critical thinking and analytical skills through extracurricular activities
Start preparing for the Law Admission Test (make sure to check the requirements and the exam’s coverage for every university
Build professional relationships with professors, mentors, and legal professionals.
MID-TERM GOALS
Make sure to develop strong communication and public speaking skills before graduating.
Complete my undergraduate studies with Latin honors.
Pass the Law Aptitude Exam in UP Diliman/Angeles University Foundation and get into the program.
Develop strong research and writing skills in legal writing and other coursework related to my degree.
Continuously improve my communication and public speaking skills, as well as analytical and logical reasoning through class recitations or mock trials.
LONG-TERM GOALS
Graduate from law school on time [either as a regular student (4 years) or a working student (5 years)
Pass the Philippine Bar Examination to become a licensed attorney.
Secure a position at a known and respected law firm or corporate legal department.
Build a reputation as a competent and ethical legal professional through hard work and dedication.
Do pro-bono work for the people in need of legal service.
